Why?

Why did I buy that 8-inch cast iron skillet? Well, my 12-inch skillet is to big too cook for 1 person, myself. Every time I feel like frying some food, I have to pour a lot of oil, which is wasteful. I just simply choose to get an 8-inch. Cooking with cast iron has its challenges, but once overcomed, it becomes easier. The food would become tastier and remain healthy.

Yes, this is another Lodge Logic in my cast iron cookware collection. I bought this brand-spanking new 8-inch skillet yesterday and noticed that it was not as well seasoned as I expected for the first time use. So I washed and reasoned it accordingly. In my point of view, the exterior and the handle need more attention for seasoning because we moslty cook inside of the skillet, which gets seasoned from cooking.
