Pollo alla Toscana

I finally had a chance to bring in my own 12-inch cast iron skillet to school to work with for this final. There were at least 15 of us in the room. I wanted to have some freedom on my own timing and a bit of control with my own tool. It worked out really well, even though the chicken could be better. I was glad to use the skillet and having the chance to learn more about how to use it.

My Knife Kit Got a New Carrier

After I transferred my knives and misc. kitchen tool to this new knife roll, it appeared to be a little too much for the Velcro on the roll. I needed to something to strap it together. I had tried the shoe lace & military belt. They didn't work as well as I'd like to. At the mean time, I thought hard about a better way. Mainly, luggage straps. But, then, it went onto dog collars. I looked around online & decided to use the dog collar, which would offer more color styles with clips. I went to a pet store today and settled one, as seen in the picture. It's only been a few hours, since I put it on, and working pretty well so far.
